Crilley becomes the Jr Monarchs 2nd Tender

The Rochester Jr Monarchs are pleased to announce their second tender being signed by Alex Crilley.  Alex is an assistant captain of the number 4 nationally ranked Pittsburgh Penguins Elite team coached by Kevin Quinn.   Thus far, Alex has amassed 18 goals and 12 assists in 30 games played, helping lead the Penguins to a 24-5-1 start in the Tier 1 Elite 18U league.  Alex was also a member of the 2015-16 National Champion Penguins team.

“Alex is a true work horse.  He is someone that you can count on in both ends of the ice, which is exactly what we are looking to build our team around.  He will have an immediate impact on our organization and league as a whole.  We are extremely excited about Alex being on board” said Head Coach/GM Dave Leaderer.

A little word from our newest member of the organization:

“I am ecstatic to have been able to sign with the Monarchs and look forward to working with this organization. I believe the new NCDC league will offer great competition and allow me to develop into a better and stronger hockey player preparing me to play at the collegiate level. Rochester is relatively close to Pittsburgh and I have played in the area before.  I feel can settle in very easily. Cannot wait to compete for this great organization and achieve great things!” – Alex Crilley
