JR MONARCHS TICKER

Halvorsen Tenders

03/01/2017

The Rochester Jr Monarchs are excited to announce the signing of Carolina Eagles Brandon Halvorsen to a tender for the 2017-18 season. Brandon is a 6’4” defensemen coming from Minooka, IL who registered 32 points in 40 games played for the Carolina Eagles. Brandon will be a nice staple on the Monarchs blue line with his leadership on and off the ice.

“Brandon is going to be a big part of our success this coming season. Brandon is a big, yet mobile defensemen with an NHL shot. I feel like he is right on the cusp of being a Division 1 player, and with playing in the NCDC division, I feel that this will get him to that point” said GM/Head Coach Dave Leaderer.

“I’m excited to be joining such a great organization and continuing my development with Coach Dave Leaderer, as I feel that Rochester was the perfect fit to not only help with my on ice game, but also with my strength and conditioning off the ice. After a visit in early January, I had a very at home feel and couldn’t wait to become a member of the Monarch family. I can’t wait to get things started and help Rochester compete for a championship next season” Brandon Halvorsen.
