Monarchs Named to USPHL All-Star Game


The Rochester Jr Monarchs are proud to announce that 5 players were selected to play in the USPHL All-Star game Monday January 21st, 2019.


NCDC: Forward Zach Mazur was selected for the NCDC All-Star game. In 33 games played, Mazur has recorded 14 goals and 11 assists for a total of 25 points! Mazur is an awesome player to watch and recently committed to Endicott College for next season.


U18s: The USPHL selected Goalie David Battisti and Forward Ryan Eccles for the U18 All-Star game.  In USPHL games, David Battisti has an impressive 0.917 save percentage in the 15 games he played. Battisti is 6th in the league for save percentage. Eccles has registered 10 goals and 7 assists in 22 games played. Ryan is the stats leader on the team.


U16s: For the U16 division, the USPHL selected Goalie Lenny Perno and Forward Spencer Quinn. Perno has come away with 7 wins out of the 8 USPHL games he has played in, along with 5 of the games earning a shut-out. In league play Perno has a remarkable 0.940 save percentage. Forward Spencer Quinn is high up on the stats leader board with only 16 USPHL games played. So far, Quinn has 8 goals and 21 assists for a total of 29 points.
