Wilmshurst Commits

The Rochester Junior Monarchs are proud to announce the commitment of Wyatt Wilmshurst, 98' Massena, NY, to Fitchburgh State University, a proud member of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, NCAA Div III.

Wyatt, a two year NCDC veteran for the Rochester Junior Monarchs is a skilled player that also makes a lot of smart unnoticed plays that helped the Monarchs at both ends of the ice.  "Wyatt has the skill to turn defensemen inside-out and score, but what most people don't notice about him is the little things.  He is a relentless back-checker, takes good angles, and is one of the most disciplined forwards in the defensive zone.  He's very even keeled and doesn't ride the emotional roller coaster." says NCDC Head Coach Nick Unger.  Wyatt said of his time in Rochester, "I appreciate the Rochester Junior Monarchs organization for helping me develop into an NCAA hockey player.  I really enjoyed mine time in Rochester and want to wish everyone the best in the future."
Congratulations Wyatt!!!  We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
